Job title: Developer – Java / .Net / XRM
Work Location: Dorval, QC
Department: Information Technology
Reports to: IT Application Manager


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support existing Java applications;
  • Assist in the support (troubleshooting, code enhancement, bug fixes);
  • Work closely with technical consultant and operations team toward continual process improvement;
  • Develop applications for business users based on detailed requirements;
  • Work within a prescribed project methodology (concept, approval, specifications, code writing, testing, deployment);
  • Day-to-day troubleshooting and support;
  • Develop an understanding of the underlying business and processes that support daily operations;
  • Interact with 3rd party systems in developing data inter-change programs;
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor;
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data modeling, schema design and review;
  • Create processes to ensure data integrity and identify potential data errors;
  • Document and update procedures and processes;
  • Make technical recommendations, develops and implements policies, standards and procedures to ensure the security, integrity, and efficiency of the enterprise database(s).

  Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills, specifically with Java / .Net C#;
  • Formal education in programming, or equivalent experience;
  • Ability to work within a dispersed team;
  • Ability to learn other programming languages;
  • Experience with Cloud XRM deliveries would be an asset;
  • Experience with PHP, React , Java Script, XML, would be an asset;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Work within tight timelines;
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within standard accepted practices;
  • Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Excellence, Integrity, Service and Teamwork;
  • Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values;
  • Position requires Level II Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
